Nature is Meditation
Do you have a difficult time with traditional meditation? Perhaps you can’t quiet your mind. Maybe you don’t have a space free of distractions in your home environment. Maybe the typical process just doesn’t seem to vibe with you. No matter what the reasons are that you have trouble with meditation, I have an alternative way for you to reach that state of mind: Nature.
Connecting with Mother Earth can easily bring peace and stillness to your mind with very little effort. Meditation is primarily about relaxing your mind and being in the present moment. This state of mind can easily be attained via nature. Go for a hike, take a walk through a park, or even spend time in your backyard. Focus on everything around you in the immediate moment. See the beauty in it. Notice details that you normally miss because your mind is consumed with your life’s issues – When you are focused on the now…focused on the beauties in the nature in front of you…your mind goes into an altered and peaceful state. Breath in the air slowly and consciously. Smile at the trees, flowers, and critters. Hear the wind rustle the leaves. Fill your heart with love for all that is surrounding you. Be in a state of gratitude for the beauty and abundance of the nature with which you are interacting. This is meditation!
Not only does your mind relax and quiet, but showing appreciation and respect for the beauty of natural earth raises your frequency. You will find that if you do this on a regular basis, your intuition will become more activated and your life in general will be calmer. Nature is the gateway drug (haha!) to traditional meditation. It conditions your mind to quiet and release when you start your journey into inner peace.
